Southern Charm

The renovations carried out on this home is simply stunning. The owners have successfully honored and maintained the ornate, classic features of the existing home while creating a warm, inviting space with the extensions.

The jewel in the crown is the formal lounge. We complemented this area with striped bonded roller blinds, sidedrape curtains and decorative, shaped pelmets. Tassel tiebacks and braided cord added the finishing touches. We are proud to have been awarded Window Treatment of the Year by Window Coverings Association of Australia (WA) for our window treatments in this room.

The ornate, classic theme flows through to the master bedroom. Embroidered Silk curtains dress the windows with a light, soft sheer. We completed the look with co-ordinating silk bedspread, cushions and bed canopy. We were pleased to enter this room in the Soft Furnishing Award by Window Coverings Association of Australia (WA).

Moving through to the living area, we used a combination of different window treatments that best suited the space. Plantation timber shutters fitted into the bay window offered a practical treatment with a classic finish. Over the large alfresco doors, soft fold roman blinds in a natural look fabric with a small herringbone detail. We finished the bay window seat cushion in the same fabric to tie the windows together. The soft fold roman blinds were motorised for ease of operation and to remove unsightly chains.
